Founded by Jay Christophe, Lagniappe Craftsmen has established itself as a trusted and dependable name in the construction industry. Jay’s journey began with a pursuit of professional football, ultimately leading him to play with the Houston Texans. He later made the intentional decision to channel his passion for building, craftsmanship, and creating lasting spaces into construction. In 2021, he officially established Lagniappe Craftsmen with a clear vision: to deliver exceptional workmanship, attention to detail, and an elevated client experience.

With more than 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, Jay has strategically grown Lagniappe Craftsmen from its roots in pavement work and line striping into a full-service construction company specializing in complete build-outs, renovations, and custom projects. What began as a local Houston operation has expanded its reach to Dallas, Atlanta, Baton Rouge, Austin, and beyond.
